CSpace community - Quick question about the calendar date picker in v5.0. Currently, after you input a date, you need to press enter to commit your entry. If you input a date manually and tab out, the date will not be saved. What is everyone's preferred interaction here? Hi Megan, I prefer selecting the date and then tabbing to the next field. I ran afoul of the new configuration a few times while testing today, and had to go back each time to reselect the date and then press return. It's a small matter to learn to press a new key, so I wouldn't be too bothered if the v5.0 were left as is. I’d prefer Option 2. If Option 1 remains, I’d eventually become programmed to comply. I think the input + tab out approach is a *bit* more conventional (expected) in web forms, and I also think anything that reduces the number of keystrokes required for data entry is better.
