SCC Members,
I’m most excited to announce that Subculture Cyclery http://subculturecyclery.com/ has joined up as a Gold Sponsor of our very own Salida Cycling Club (SCC).
I’m also excited to announce that we have a design and fit kits ready to go for our 2016 clothing.
This is a nice benefit for SCC Members. We provide “at-cost” pricing for high-end, high-tech garments which are custom designed, and printed with our local cycling club’s name & logo, as well as those of our sponsors’.
Flying the flag with pride makes the club stronger.
We have noticed some sizing variation from year to year, so it’s best to double check your size before you order even if you have ordered Louis Garneau clothing through SCC before.
Head down to Subculture Cyclery http://subculturecyclery.com/ between the hours of 10AM and 5PM to try on the clothing for size.
Talk to Jason, Rafael, Claire, Matt, or any of the fine folks at the shop at 129 North G St. (1/2 block up from Sackett Ave. - across from the AHRA building). They will be happy to help find the correct bin(s) which contains the item(s) you want to try on.
This year, many items don’t have any minimum required quantity to order. However, the final price will be higher than you see for an item that fails to make the minimum price break quantity. Items that fail to make minimum price break quantities will be re-priced, and you will have a second chance to order, or cancel an item such as this.
The socks are different. You should check them out before ordering. They are made of a sublimated fabric similar to a jersey or other high-tech logo emblazoned piece of kit. They come in two lengths (tall and short) in two sizes each. These are not a traditional knit sock.
Here is the link to the store: https://www.lgpickpayride.com/SouthCentralRacing2016Order https://www.lgpickpayride.com/SouthCentralRacing2016Order Check it out because we are offering a lot more this year than in the past.
The deadline for ordering is Monday April 18th. You don’t pay at this first step, you only order what you would like. Pricing is recalculated based on exceeding or not meeting minimum quantities. You will confirm and pay later.
Please direct any issues about the clothing to me, and not the bike shop. I can run it down. Please email me, or use the contact info below.
Happy Shopping!!!

SCC Members,
Garneau has short lead times to get our clothing produced, if we place the order soon.
This is a great opportunity to get some high end clothing with our custom design at a lower price.
SCC doesn’t make money on the clothing. We actually pay for the whole order to get shipped to Salida.
Our sponsors give a significant amount of money to SCC for the privilege of having their logos displayed on these articles. By wearing the clothing, you are supporting our sponsors who support your club!
The only artwork you will see in the online store (they sketch for free) are the jersey and bibs. The long sleeve items have the same basic design, and all of the accessories match. This is a really good looking kit for 2016!
I would like to give everyone the opportunity to get any clothing they want.
Are there members who still need to try on the fit kits?
Are there members who still need to place orders in the store?
Please let me know ASAP if you intend to order clothing, and if need more time to try on the fit kits or use the online store.
Best,
