As a physician who has treated several cases of CO poisoning (and seen several
fatal cases) please install C O detectors in you cabins.  Diesel, Gas and
Propane can all give lethal amounts of Carbon Monoxide.  The toxicity can be
insidious and you can die in your sleep!
Several years ago there were a series of deaths due to flow through hot
propane water  heaters in boats.  Galley stoves can give lethal levels, so can
refrigerator which are not properly vented.  The biggest killer in
recreational boats are heaters: be it radiant type, alcohol, or even grills
taken inside to warm up the cabin. Carbon Monoxide is very dangerous
stuff--far more dangerous than Pirates!!!
