I just got done applying Brightside 1 part polyurethane with roll and tip - I am very happy with the outcome. I have heard of 2 types of bad outcomes to beware of: 1) non-adhering due to poor surface prep - follow directions and use the proper fiberglass wash 2) poor gloss - due to too high humidity in the 12-24 hours after application. I've also had Brightside on an old 15' Whaler that has gotten lots of use over the past 8 years of the paint. It is just now needing to be refinished, but it lives under a cover also. On the other hand - Sterpling and Perfection 2 part PU are supposed to have better hardness and longevitiy, I'm going to refinish the Whaler with 2 part. Note to self- have to completely remove all 1 part before applying 2 part, they are incompatible.
