What worked for me:
Get two 12" diameter 1/4" thick steel plates and a 2" long piece of 8"
steel pipe. Weld the flanges to the ends of the pipe. Through bolt the
bottom flange to the deck and use the top flange to attach the pedestal of
a chair. Stidd will send you the flange they use to attach the chair which
you can bolt to the top flange or make your own pedestal and add a seat of
your choice.
