A word about NordhavnDreamers

Last September, Georgs kindly sent a note to the Nordhavn Dreamers group to
remind those participants of the benefits of the PUP list.

May I take the opportunity of doing the same a year later for the 1,000
member NordhavnDreamers Group. These are people who are keen on the topics
and ideas relating to long-distance capable powerboating. NordhavnDreamers
(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NordhavnDreamers/) is that place and I invite
you to come and play with PAE Management, Execs, Suppliers, Staff and lots
of owners too including some of the more famous heavy-weight cruisers from
the Nordhavn clan.

I know many of the people here are already members of the NordhavnDreamers
Group. If you are not, you may be missing some great debates. Just over the
last few days, we have discussed a number of topics including:

Anchoring
RIBs
Caribbean Cruising
Fuel burn rates
Chain wash
Aft visibility
The new Nordhavn 63
Bow eyes
Man overboard and MOB devices
A salvaged Selene
Teak decks
Fuel systems

As well as a number of owner blogs and owner posts regarding their specific
boats.

Of course, many participants are just regular poor people (like me!) with
a keen interest in boats and a dream to go far off the edge of the map. If
you have an interest in powerboating and safe cruising, NordhavnDreamers
could well be the place to keep your knowledge and hobby in tip-top
condition.
