Pumps generally are flow rated at zero head. Each foot the water is lifted reduces flow. For Cigano, I used the tables in DP's article and handicapped the pumps accordingly. I installed 3 x Rule 3700's as emergency pumps with a Rule 1100 as a general workhorse and maintenance pump. Still thinking about adding another big AC bilge pump.
