8/26 - Rocky Hill, Rocky Hill meadows (9 a.m.) -- 2 BUFF-BREASTED
SANDPIPERS.  Bird was on a dirt swath, along with least sandpipers and
killdeer, where sod had been recently cut, well east of the portable
toilet and just east of where the road reaches some trees.

8/26 - Norwalk, Lakewood Lane -- more than fifty Common Nighthawks

8/26 - Stratford, Access Rd pools opposite R.E. Michel -- TRICOLORED
HERON, BLUE-WINGED TEAL.
Stratford, Warehouse Mudflat -- about a half dozen WESTERN SANDPIPERS.
Waterbuy/Naugatuck line, Rt 8 -- 3 BLACK VULTURES
