Interesting web site--and could be of interest. I notice that a number of
marinas in the Pensacola area no longer exist since the hurricanes and
purchase by condo developers, so it is at least 18 months out of date.

I checked several locations on the Chesapeake; large number of marinas not
listed.

I believe the site is a "work in progress" where the user base is expected
to suggest new locations that the site owner may approve entry of. A brief
look showed the user base can suggest new entries, but I didn't spot a means
to suggest the removal of obsolete ones.

There is a checkbox on the top of the "Update Info" page that you click
if the place no longer exists.
I updated the info for my marina. We'll see if it gets updated and how
long it takes.
The site is pretty generic. Obviously they intend to use this site for
all types of "places of interest". I think that's a good thing compared
to the site we talked about several months ago where people could update
fuel prices. Has anyone kept up on that site??
It would be nice to have specific fields (check boxes maybe) for
information that would not change on a daily/weekly basis, like if there
is a fuel dock, types of fuel, Pump-out, haul-out, service department,
etc. but that wouldn't apply to many other types of locations that this
site is being used for. I added that info to the "Amenities" field.
