Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end  time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter:        Tom Bolohan

Observers:        Derek Lyon, Harold Vanderley, Ken Wootton, Tom Stewart

Visitors:
Thanks to the crew that made it to the site today to do the count... Tom B,
Tom S, Derek, Ken and Harold.

Weather:
Winds were light from the NE to start but unfortunately (as forecast) they
backed around to the SE by late morning. Temps remain way to warm starting
at 10C and getting to a high of 23C. Not much cloud today which made
spotting the birds quite difficult.

Raptor Observations:
Not a bad flight today despite the less than ideal winds and tough sky.
Total raptors for the day was 601 with mostly Sharpies (188) and An
Kestrels (151) along the first TVs (221) they started counting today. A
lone Osprey came through along with some N. Harriers (12), a few Peregrines
(3) and Merlins (2) and some lagging Broadwings (2). Cooper's Hawks (12)
and Redtails (9) are starting to move as well.

Non-raptor Observations:
None reported today.

Predictions:
Looks like a similar forecast tomorrow (Sunday) with very light N winds
backing to the S or SW.  This may bring some birds along the cliff but it's
hard to say with the weather like this.
