Nordhavn removes diesel-electric page

I'm  not surprised to hear of this. Whether or not N'havn has the time, due
to conventional orders, to develop this is irrelevant IMHO. No matter  how
cool  the concept (and it really is!) reality is that DE drive will be  a long
time, if ever, in coming to the yacht market due to initial cost and  fuel
inefficiencies. It is simply not viable yet in small sizes. Another  example of
big-ship technology currently inappropriate for small  boats.
