From Mark Scott:
05/21/14 - New Haven, Edgewood Park -- Mourning Warbler.  Find the
intersection of Whalley Avenue and Fitch Street; look for a red gate
on the south (park) side of Whalley; the gate was was open this
morning (it isn't always). Enter the park there. Immediately on the
right there is a footbridge with iron railings which spans a small
stream. The bird was seen and heard in the Japanese knotweed on both
sides of the footbridge as late as 6:30 a. m. It was singing
persistently. There are parking spaces beyond this point.

giving good looks along the river to the left of the bridge at 8 AM.

Warbler, 1 Bay Breasted Warbler, 2 Blackburnian Warbler, 2 Tennessee
Warbler.
New Haven, Edgewood Park -- with Larry Bausher; Mourning Warbler
continues, silent.

05/21/14 - New Haven, Edgewood Park -- 4:50 PM; Mourning Warbler still
here but only had brief looks and it disappeared into the knotweed.
Have not been able to relocate it again.

(Trowbridge Drive), 14 warbler species including Wilson's Warbler
(river path) and Tennessee Warbler (at least two, Trowbridge Drive and

FLYCATCHER, above the power-lines and rifle range.

species of warbler including 1 CERULEAN WARBLER.

Compounce) -- 1 WHIP-POOR-WILL, distant but audible.
Southington, Whitman Rd -- 2 WHIP-POOR-WILL.

05/21/14 - Stratford, Greenway -- Today was the 3rd day I saw 2 pairs
(males in breeding plumage) of Bobolinks in the large overgrown grassy
area of the Greenway on Beacon Pt Road.
