Good morning LSR,
Wow, what a rollercoaster ride the weather has been this year. With that has come much needed rain, temperatures bouncing all over with some hail and heavy winds. It has definitely greened up yards and caused some previously cracked tree limbs to finally come down. Weather we all are too familiar with in Texas.
I would be remiss is I didn’t remind everyone that this Sunday, May 14th is Mothers Day.
Treat that special person in your life to a great day.
Now, for those that have items the trash trucks won’t take or you are cleaning out garages, back yards and patios, we have a solution.
On June 2nd- June 5th, there will be two 40ft. rollout containers placed in the neighborhood for cleanup. The containers will be dropped off late afternoon on Friday, the 2nd with both containers being picked up early morning on Monday, the 5th.
During this time you will be able to take bulk items for disposal to the locations.
We will place the first container on Woodland Trace as you turn right off Autumn Terrace. The second will be placed in the cul-de-sac at the end of Woodland Pass.
We ask that you be courteous and mindful to those who live around the locations by putting all the items in the container and do not leave anything outside on the road.
Also, do not fill to the top. There must be 2 ft clearance at the top for travel down the road. Break down boxes and other items that you can to allow room for your neighbor to place items in the container also.
No rocks, stones, batteries, oil, antifreeze, paint, tires, or other hazardous materials are permitted.
Appliances are permitted only if the Freon is removed.
For brush, it is bulky and takes up a lot of space. Break down the brush to allow more room. Also many residents have also used the Kendall County Brush site. It is located at 202 Charger Blvd. across from Champion HS. A minimal fee for the brush site.
Enjoy the rest of your week.
Also, have a great Mothers Day weekend and stay safe.
