Good afternoon everyone. A Township I represent just forwarded me an email they got from a citizen claiming a mental health disability related to an anxiety disorder. The citizen is requesting that they be permitted to attend Township supervisor meetings via Zoom. This Township has never utilized Zoom or any other medium to broadcast or record their meetings. The citizen related that his disability warrants the reasonable accommodation of Zoom availability. I've never had this type of accommodation request made before. I know Zoom use at meetings has been discussed and the dangers of losing internet connection/audio can run the municipality afoul of the Sunshine Act. So I am stumped. Any insight is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
