(clockwise starting at the parking lot on Keeney Rd) on the blue blaze
trail I heard an Acadian Flycatcher. Halfway back to the car I
photographed another.

found by Richard Payne near the river. 2 Cape May Warblers and a
Bay-breasted Warbler at Trowbridge. We also had 2 Wilson's Warblers,
and 3 Blackburnian Warblers. Excellent looks at all.

very birdy morning in spite of the early drizzle on this annual bird
walk led by Jay Kaplan. Highlights of the 63 species seen included
continuing Red-headed Woodpecker at Section 9/10, Blackburnian
Warbler, Peregrine Falcon and 2 Common Raven.

05/10/14 - New Haven/Hamden, East Rock -- 1 Cape May down at the
museum area (found by Mark Scott and Richard Payne) and then 2 on
Trowbridge. They gave amazing looks. We also had 1 Bay-breasted on
Trowbridge. Other birds included 1 Wilson's Warbler, and 3
Blackburnian Warblers.

warbler species observed in the park today were as follows: Nashville,
Northern parula, yellow, chestnut-sided, magnolia, Cape May,
Blackburnian, black-throated blue, black-throated green,
yellow-rumped, prairie, blackpoll, bay-breasted, black-and-white,
American redstart, worm-eating, common yellowthroat, Northern
waterthrush, ovenbird and Wilson's.
