Peggie,
I find it useful to convert jpg to pdf when, for example, scanning a manual
or article with both text and images and keeping it for future reference, to
share or post on our website. An example is
http://www.mv-dreamer.com/PMarticle.pdf and another is
http://www.mv-dreamer.com/VelvetDriveOwnersManual.pdf I don't normally
convert photos to pdf and I always keep the original jpg and the compressed
jpg. When the hard drive starts to get too full with images, I burn them
onto a CD for permanent reference.
Good luck,
Bob Lowe
Bob, why would you convert jpg files to pdf? Once you do that imaging
editing becomes a lot more difficult
