I am selling my working NovaKool RFU-8000 marine/RV refrigerator/freezer. We are upgrading to a unit with a bit more capacity. This fridge uses the reliable Danfoss low-voltage (12v/24v) compressor and is very efficient. Connect it directly to your boat or RV's DC electrical system. This particular model also has a built-in AC/DC converter so that it can also be run directly from AC shore power. On our boat, it runs from AC when we are at a dock or have the generator running, and on DC otherwise. This fridge was new in 2002 and came to us with the boat. It has been functioning well for the year or so that we've used it. At 6.8 cubic feet total capacity, is is just a bit small for our needs, so we are replacing it. These sell new for over $2,000. The fridge is currently in service and will remain so until it is sold (I don't have room to store it otherwise). It is installed on our boat, and we are currently in the Miami, FL area. I have no way to pack and ship this, so I am selling it as "local pickup only," although you are certainly welcome to contract with someone, such as U-Ship, to pick it up for you. This unit is intended to be installed in a cabinet and comes with the mounting flange; it is not free-standing. It has latching doors for safe traveling and has reversible door hinges.
