To all Cruising Fleet Racers - There will be a Cruising Fleet racing meeting next Wednesday, May 1st , at 7:30 pm. The 2019 Sailing Instructions, new Cox-Sprague scoring for Sundays, and the Scoring Rules will be discussed. There are seven slots to fill for Race Patrol - Saturday 6/15, Saturday 7/13, Sunday 8/4, Sunday 8/18, Sunday 9/1, Sunday 10/13, and Saturday 10/19. The Cruising Fleet must fill these slots but you don't have to be experienced in Race Patrol duty - you just help out on the boat. If you are a racer, you may request the Fleet Scorer give you your average score for the races you are on Race Patrol. All in all, a pretty sweet deal for a lovely afternoon on the water. Our first Sunday race is May 5th, and our first Wednesday night race is May 8th. Please don't forget to pay your $30 Fleet dues by May 1st, especially if you're using PayPal. See below/attached.
