ERROR: CGAL error in CGAL_Nef_polyhedron3(): CGAL ERROR: assertion
violation! Expr: pe_prev->is_border() ||
!internal::Plane_constructor::get_plane(pe_prev->facet(),pe_prev->facet()->plane()).is_degenerate()
File:
/Users/kintel/code/OpenSCAD/openscad/../libraries/install/include/CGAL/Nef_3/polyhedron_3_to_nef_3.h
Line: 293

When I do a preview, everything shows up fine.
When I do a render, I get this error.

I am using OSx version 2016.06.25 (git 7036a6d)

It must be something with a stl file I am importing.
Any idea what this could mean?

Jerry

It usually is a bad STL.
You can check it with  Netfabb Studio Basic
https://www.netfabb.com/products/netfabb-basic  , put it thru their
online repair https://netfabb.azurewebsites.net/  , or post the STL here
and I'll take a look.
Sometimes they are repairable.
