Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsAhoy All:
This email being sent from a lap-top on board the
Miss Happ, so I'll keep it short - poor signal here
and don't want to have to retype.
Shore leave is over, survived Hurricane Ophelia
while on shore leave in NC, the boat is restocked and
the crew is ready to continue the cruise.
Cooler temps than when we stopped back in August,
and a heavy fog this morning. Probably wont' depart
before 11am, and we don't plan to cruise more than 20
miles or so today on the Illinois River.
We've seen many "hot spots" while doing the Loop,
so purchased a lap-top to take advantage of the
situation.

Hope they are FREE hotspots!!! I have
heard that they can get VERY expensive.
