At 'St. Mary's By The Sea' in Bridgeport near Quinlan Avenue area - saw 10 Lesser Golden Plovers in Ash Creek(?). Across from 'Southport Beach' - near Sasco Creek Road in the little 'pool' area - was a bird that fits Purple Sandpiper - gray on top, white on bottom, white eye ring, yellow legs when viewed thru scope - and as it walked in shallow water, it bobbed its body up and down Marty from Woodbury ( visiting old haunts along the shore)
