View all threadsLast year Canal Corp filled the canal very late in the season, and weeds
took hold and my harbor was completely overgrown and when the water came,
the weeds grew bigger. It all died last winter and now there are large
rafts of dead weeds floating there.
Just now I discovered what all that splashing was the past few days.
I have around a hundred or more real big carps out there, 3 footers,
spawning and leaping.
One heck of a performance by Mother Nature!
Here's what it all looked like the exact same date, 2 years ago, up a
creek a mile up the canal from me:
