Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsWe have been using The Capn with SoftCharts and have found that to be a great
combination. We've used them on the rivers (Upper Mississippi, Tennessee),
Lake Michigan, GIWW (Mobile to Brownsville) as well as a portion of the
Chesapeake & the Potomac. The Capn also works well with the Canadian charts. The 2-Vol
Great Loop/Great Circle SoftCharts set is a good value. You may need to add a
few charts depending on the route you use.

Have to agree with Rob. The Capn program is easy to use. Chart/route
planning is also not a problem. We are also doing the loop next year
and will be sticking with "The Capn".
