Hi: I suggest you check in with the CG stations in that area.. They are all inside the inlets and can give you very accurate information. Depth varies along the route and you will require this info for your draft.

This time last year I got great advice on the NJ Intercoastal Waterway by calling the local Tow Boats US agent who serves Atlantic City. She walked me through the route between Atlantic City and Cape May marker by marker. She identified possible trouble spots considering my 4-1/2 foot draft and made recommendations for the best times to be in various places because of the tide. It took me two days to transit between Atlantic City and Cape May in order to take advantage of the tides and even then I plowed a couple furrows with my keel.
Earlier this summer the Stone Harbor Bridge was closed for repairs. I don’t know if it’s back in service but Tow Boats or the Coast Guard would.
Be advised that some bridge operators are not very attentive this late in the season. Have patience when calling them. I had to ask the Coast Guard to get hold of one them for me.
Good luck!
