10/3/11 0900 A frequent morning visit to Cove Island Wildlife Sanctuary specifically in search of the bird that has eluded me for three years (until a couple of weeks ago while in MA) has finally paid off. A first fall Connecticut Warbler responded to a bit of pishing and was observed at mid-level slowly walking along a branch, working its way up until eventually flying off. Great views and opportunity to observe the differences from that of an adult.
Also, at Czecik Marina Park, Stamford: Lincoln's, Savannah, Swamp, White-throated and Song Saprrows.
