Hurricane Irene - Flooding likely - Seek safe harbor. Champlain Canal
Lock C-1 (Waterford) to Lock C-8 (Fort Edward) and Erie Canal Lock E-2
(Waterford) to Lock E-15 (Fort Plain) will close at noon on Sunday, August
28th. No mooring will be allowed at Canal facilities in these closed
segments, except in the Waterford Flight. For updates and information
monitor 1-800-4CANAL4 and www.canals.ny.gov
Be aware of high water and debris. Some buoys may be off station. For
updates and information monitor 1-800-4CANAL4 and www.canals.ny.gov.
