Rudy & Delores:

I am a bit confused about where you want to meet/leave your son and
his wife, but, as in the US, most Canadian Towns of any size have car
rental agencies -- such as Enterprise, Thrifty, etc.  They also have
local companies offering rentals.  Cars are available in Trenton,
Peterborough, Orillia, Midland, and many other cities along the
waterway.  I am sure you can find dates and locations for the car rentals.

Google "car rental" and the town you are interested in and you'll see
your options.  To avoid the hassle and expense of finding a one-way
rental, I would suggest you rent at a city where the boat is and
drive the kids to/from the airport.  The Trent-Severn cities aren't
all that far from Toronto Pearson International Airport, perhaps two
hours each way from Peterborough or Trenton, for example.

The Toronto airport is pretty easy to find and to get into and out of by car.

Hope this helps...

Looking for info on car rentals on the eastern Trent /Severn. Our
son and wife are flying into Toronto on July 14 and thought we might
rent a car and pick them up, never having been in Toronto. Or they
would rent a car and drive to meet us in Peterboro or a bit
east.Don't know if there is a place to drop a car and rent again for
their trip back on the 20th to fly back to D.C. from Toronto.
We are leaving Ottawa today.
Thanks for any and all suggestions.
