Participate in  "A Page Turning" Event in the Collins Memorial Library sponsored by the new organization, Puget Sound Book Artists

What:  Puget Sound Book Artists is a new organization comprised of individuals from all quarters of the book arts field for the purpose of creating a spirit of community as well as to support growth and development in the field of books as art.  Participate in an informal display of artists' books from 1:30 to 3:30 on Saturday November 20th.

Be amazed and inspired by a selection of unique artists' books on display from local area artists. Learn about the Puget Sound Book Arts group, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting all aspects of the books arts.

Where:  Collins Memorial Library, University of Puget Sound ( see website for directions and parking information: http://www.pugetsound.edu/about/visiting-puget-sound/directions/)

When: Saturday November 20th from 1:30 to 3:30.

If you would like to participate contact jspaine@pugetsound.edumailto:jspaine@pugetsound.edu to reserve a display space by NOVEMBER 15th. Each participant will be responsible for their own books.  Please bring books that can be handled and enjoyed.  Each artist will have an 11x17 space for display.  Set-up by 1:00 and display concludes at 3:30.

And while at the Collins Library, Enjoy the current exhibit: "Local Conditions" Solo exhibit and debut of Chandler O'Leary's latest artist book, featuring Mount Rainier and attend Abby Williams Hill - A Living History Performance, 3-4 p.m. in room 020 ( lower level)
