Scott, bag them and keep them so you don't need them ;-)
We don't have them and we're in the same water that you'll be on "this
side". OTOH as the guy says somewhere in some port someone will put an idea
into your head and the plans will be changed.
We can't keep track of where we are now so planning too far ahead is only a
mental exercise. OTOH, don't throw away spares or other boat gear that you
will one day need if not for you then a fellow boaters.
I have a stock of belts that is second only to a NAPA store. I have never
used one of them but they sure do light up a guys face when you come up with
one that will put him back in motion is a remote anchorage :-)
Sharing resources is part of the cruising/passagmaking. Those can be
anything from notes, to suggestions, to parts, to help. It makes the
camaraderie of cruising all the better, IMHO.
BTW, welcome to the world of living aboard. As soon as you leave your home
dock you'll take another giant step. Good on ya, mon:_)
