Note: Sorry for the delayed report, things have been a bit busier than
usual and this has been just one of the casualties.

From Brad Keltonic via Emily Keltonic:
12/05/14 - Preston -- One lone Sand Hill Crane was seen in a corn
field on Rt 164 about 1/2 mile from the intersection of Rt 164 with Rt
165 in Friday, at 1:10 PM by my son Brad.  He called me on his cell as
he was in the area to hunt deer.  He went back about an hour later and
called to say it was no longer visible with binoculars from the road.

12/05/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- Yellow-breasted Chat in
same spot as Thursday.

From Bill Banks:
12/05/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 10:35; Yellow-breasted
Chat near the Meigs Point Nature Center.

12/05/14 - Avon, Fisher Meadow -- continuing blue morph Snow Goose, 7
Northern Pintail.

12/04/14 - Wethersfield, Goodwin Park Golf Course Ponds -- 1 CACKLING
GOOSE.

12/04/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- Yellow-breasted Chat
briefly seen in tangle of bittersweet berries and small cedars near
Purple Martin houses behind Meig's Point Nature Center, 11:45 AM.

12/04/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- After many years of
misses, including all this week and being painfully close yesterday,
finally got the YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT in the same area as Denise,
thanks to her prompt post!!

12/04/14 - Milford, Silver sands State Park --  2:00 PM, female
Northern Pintail in Nettleton outlet pond.

12/04/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- afternoon; an afternoon
walk at Meig's Point yielded 3 COMMON EIDERS; two just offshore below
the observation platform and one adult male sitting on the rocks at
the end of the Moraine Trail.  Also at the end of the Moraine Trail
were 32 SNOW BUNTINGS.

12/03/14 - Trumbull, private -- A female Rufous Hummingbird has been
coming to a feeder at a private residence in Trumbull since at least
early November.

12/03/14 -  Stratford, Residence -- The immature female RUFOUS
HUMMINGBIRD continues as of 7:45 Wednesday morning. It visited the
feeder twice within a five minute period.

12/03/14 - Madison, Hammonasset Beach SP -- Red-breasted Nuthatch and
an Orange-crowned Warbler behind the nature center, Yellow-breasted
Chat on Willard's Island (right side trail).

12/03/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 1 White-crowned Sparrow
Roadside, c. 200  yds west of the Nature Center, next to the gated
road that goes into the marsh.
