04/03/13 - Norwalk, 14 Acre Pond -- Northern Shoveler drake, pair of
Blue-winged Teal.

From Frank Mantlik:
04/03/13 - Stratford, Long Beach --  12:00; an estimated 20,000 Gulls
(90% Ring-billed; zero Bonaparte's so far) thousands of Brant, Scaup,
Long-tailed Ducks plankton-feeding. One large flock close in, most far
out, but all continually shifting. Plankton feast.
4:30, (high tide); many Bonaparte's Gulls in the mix - 200-300?

04/03/13 - ?????, Batterson Pond -- Yellow Bellied Sapsucker.
Avon, Fisher Meadow Park -- 4 Lesser Scaup and 4 Rusty Blackbirds.
Simsbury, Great Pond -- Red-breasted Merganser.

04/03/13 -  Hamden, North Lake Dr -- 2 male Rusty Blackbirds.

04/03/13 - Hebron, Amston, off Rt 85 R Trail headed West off main
parking area -- Blue-winged Teal seen again this morning around 9 AM
on opposite side from yesterday (Colchester side) going in main wet
area.

04/03/13 - Greenwich, Audubon Center -- approximately Noon; flock of
(11) COMMON RAVEN soaring about 500 feet above, calling and chasing
each other over the parking lot next to Audubon Center and Quaker
Ridge Hawk Watch. The group gradually worked its way east towards
Stamford.
