The bird was still present when I left at about 1:30pm.

It was foraging in the meadow/successional growth area west of the water tower and east of the two ponds (maybe a 100-200m diameter area) and making periodic flights.

Park in the parking lot by the dog run area and walk west towards the field. There's an old fence around the meadow area but there numerous large gaps/holes cut in the fence you can easily walk through to access the meadow. Once inside, there are several walking paths transecting the meadow.

Marie Curtis Park is on Lakeshore Blvd in Mississauga, just east of Dixie Road.

Hi birders, photographers, nature lovers etc..
The Scissor-tailed Flycatcher is still present at 7:15 pm, in Marie Curtis Park , SE Mississauga. See directions below from previous posts.
Be patient.. the bird is in a perfect habitat. It does not know that it is not Oklahoma or Texas. It feeds well and has roosting area ( by the RUSTY water tower). It should hang around a few days. So be patient and you will get the pictures that you want.
TOday, I observed it over a span of 7 hours!!  And, it always showed itself between the Rusty water Tower and the western edge of the meadows, by the newly built black fence. At times it even went into the Mill compound on their BLACK fence to the west, at the south side of Dixie Rd and Lakeshore Blvd.
It appears that it will roost by the poplars near the RUSTY water tower.
Best of luck, if you go....you may see me there again, wife permitting.....
If you need help finding it. ....Contact me, I live 10 minutes away.
