Visitors:
Quite a few visitors today who aided Ken W with getting today's count done.
It was great to hear that most of these visitors got great looks at the
Golden Eagle that flew past right overhead going westbound.
Weather:
Lots of cloud around for the day and winds were light initially from the
NNE then a bit more N and finally getting a bit stronger and swinging
around to the E. Temps ranged from 10C to 16C. Pressure was dropping
through the day.
Raptor Observations:
A very similar flight to Friday with a total of 1627 birds most of which
were TVs (1395) and Sharpies (115). The highlight today was another Golden
Eagle that flew by just before noon providing nice views. Another decent
number of N. Harriers (17), Bald Eagles (18) and Am Kestrels (16) and
Cooper's Hawks (10). Finally had a small number of buteos on the move with
Redtails (40) and Red-shoulders (13).
Non-raptor Observations:
None reported today.
