IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Who are the members of the BareFoot Collective? The managing members of tBFC
are impressed and inspired by the many accomplishments and achievements of
the members of our growing collective. This month we  highlight and further
introduce our brand new co-director Stephanie Kriege Pederson

1. In four sentences, tell us a bit about who you are.

I have been hooked on dance since I was about six years old and got to
perform in a green tutu with a tambourine!  Since then I have been fortunate
enough to find ways to dance and choreograph during most stages of my life.
In the South Sound area I have been privileged to find opportunities to
choreograph for high schoolers, college students, community theater actors,
and my fellow dancers in the BareFoot community, all the while being able to
pursue my dancing with BQ Danza and in various BareFoot shows!  A little
over a month ago I got married to a wonderful man who is an actor and
dancer, Jamie Pederson, and look forward to our future ventures together in
both the performing arts and in life!

2. Why are you a co-director of the BareFoot Collective?

My involvement with tBFC comes from my desire to continue to find ways to
explore expressive movement and bring outlets and education opportunities to
parts of the community that may not find it otherwise accessible.
*
3. What do you enjoy the most about the BareFoot Collective?*

I love witnessing the exploration and presentation of dance and performance
movement by people of all walks and skill levels!
