Oops looks, like my joules are a lot bigger than Bobs are sort of like when
I order a double banana split and then can't eat it all.
Bob correct on the Joules! I know the jolt themselves are not fatal. However
if one is standing in a small boat along side and grabs the hot wire the
tendency is to fall into the water also since bare feet and saltwater are
abundant in our environment it should be a very different experience than
running into the fence as we did when we were kids next door in New
Hampshire...double dare etc.
Lights, the barking dog(s) and perhaps a bit of electricity (fence charger
or stun type(which is a weapon and therefore illegal in most countries).
Pepper spray(again considered a weapon in most countries so it illegal). At
that point you really have run out of options unless you wish to go with
firearms which can escalate very rapidly.
My point here is to create a deterrent to taking the tender or gaining
access inside the big boat. Once the banditos are inside they have the
advantage and it's all but over, IMHO.
