On the actual doors of my 1983 Grand Banks Classic there is a slot that runs around the door and in the slot is pile weather stripping .  The pile should be "furry" but over the many years of varnishing the adjacent wood work, the fur is now gone or hard as a rock..  getting the old weather stripping out was a challenge but with the advice of the Grand Banks forum, I was told to use a dremel and I now have a nice clean 5/32 inch wide slot all the way around the door.  I can find no pile weather strip that will fit in this slot.   The Grand Banks forum directed me to a Canadian company that has what looks like what I need,  The weather stripping has a rubber/plastic bottom (with a furry top) that is shaped like an inverted Christmas tree.  looks like you would jam the weather stripping down into the slot and the vanes/limbs of the bottom would not back out.

I am trying to find a location in the US that may carry something like this.. The Canadian company's web site is all in French so I am challenged...

Anyone have any advice or know of a US company that carries this?

Jim,

On my computer, this website has the word 'English' in the top bar,
upper right corner of the page.  I clicked on that and got the English
language version of the website.
