The AC5 gets my vote. They'll handle up to 48000 BTU of AC. I've seen a few of the call pumps split in two and leaking water.

i've had bad luck with Cals. typically the seal on the shaft fails (the
spring seems to be steel) and it looses its cooling oil.
March have a better reputation...
in a bind, you can use a small spa or swimming pump pool... I have one has
a spare and have used it for a week at a time... works fine.

Subject: T&T: Air Conditioner pumps
It's 80 degrees at 10:30pm and a holiday weekend is coming - so the air
conditioner pump died!. Last night we awoke to the A/C units displaying
"HPF". The pump is a Cal Marine MS1200-BB and it supplies water to two
16,000btu and one 12,000btu air conditioning units. Since I found two
dead
Cal Marine pumps onboard, I am wondering if I should find another pump -
perhaps a March AC-5A-MD or ???
Recommendations?

I seem to remember that someone mentioned using a normal domestic shallow
well pump for A/C water circulation. A lot cheaper (under $200) and you can
grab one at the local Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.
I am very happily using one of these for domestic water, but that is
certainly not continuous duty.
