Fellow trawlerers - I almost always visit the Boaters World store in Portland
before the West Marine store. At my age I'm big into good ole customer service
and when the price is more competitive I've hit a home run. The selection
doesn't seem as wide but the folks there are not as opposed to "stink boats".
Seems I typically have more questions than money so I ask a lot before
purchasing.
Until the last year we could die and stink before we'd receive help ( with an
attitude) from the West Store we visited while the guy at Boaters World would
even offer to help us to the truck with our purchases.
YMMV
