TWL: Viewing TWL ascending or descending option?

TWL,

Will I always have to scroll to the bottom of the page to see the most recent
postings, or can I change this to view most recent postings at the top of
page?

Since I am new to TWL, I haven't figured out how to easily respond to a TWL
response directly from the archives. Easy enought to respond directly to an
individual, but then the List misses out on the response.

Do I have to copy the Re: heading and then paste it into a new email to TWL or
am I missing something?

Yes you will always have to scroll to the bottom. There is no option, either personal or
administrative, to change the order in which archived messages are listed. Archives are
not intended to be the primary way of reading mailing list messages either here on TWL or
any other such list.

Since I am new to TWL, I haven't figured out how to easily respond to a TWL
response directly from the archives.

To reply to something read in the archive:

1.Click on the sender's email address. That should open an email reply window for a
message addressed to the original poster and with the "Subject" line intact but with no
text quoted from the original post.

  1. If you think that your reply should go to the list you'll have to manually change the
address to trawler-world-list@lists.samurai.com . [I suggest putting this in your Address
Book with a simple nickname or alias.]

  2. If necessary for clarity you may wish to 'cut & paste' some of the original message
into your reply - Please do so sparingly!

  3. Write your message and send it off.
