March 26 , 2006 - Bird sightings in Bradford area
From: Peter Wukasch
Today at 8:30 am I spotted a flock of 8 Bohemian Waxwings in the front yard of a home on the 10th sideroad of Bradford -West Gwillimbury just north of the 6th Line. They were perched in a maple in front of the third house on the right. Further north on the 2nd line of Innisfil just west of the 20th Sideroad, there were 4 Trumpeter Swans feeding in a field very close to the road. The numbers of Tundra Swans at the end of Bathurst Street near Bradford has levelled off at about 90 - 100 birds with large numbers of Norther Pintails, Mallards, and Canada Geese mixed in and lesser numbers of Am. Widgeon, Redhead and  Ring-necked Duck.
