Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsWe are anchored at Portsmouth, Va. and will be heading up the bay as far
north as the Potomac and up the Potomac, for now anyway.
We are aware of marinas and places to see but are short on info on ANCHORAGES
between here and there , including the eastern and western shores.
Suggestions are greatly appreciated. As THE WIFE says anchorages dont purchase
ads in the Waterway Guide !!!!
Thanks in advance,

Charles,
If you use C-MAP .. their website has a free downloadable file that can be
copied onto a user chip and will show the locations of about a hundred
"gunk holes" on the Chesapeake Bay.
