This week there is lots to be super excited about! Today marks the middle
of winter, so each day that passes gets us closer to spring and closer to a
return to outdoor workouts! We also have the Super Bowl next weekend; maybe
we can leverage the excitement of the game to have our own super week of
training.
Our Feb Four Challenge began this past Friday with 22 participants. If you

Just a reminder if you have not yet renewed your club membership that your membership will remain intact until Valentine's Day / Friday 2/14, which is now only 2 Fridays away. After that we'll update our records to reflect the current registered athletes at that time. We had 24 Gators participate in the January club fitness challenge, which was called the "Thrive in 2025 Challenge". The goal was to attain 25 points during the month by completing swim, bike, run, strength, and core/flexibility workouts plus bonus points could be earned by attending Gators workouts and events (e.g. Annual Members Meeting). In total the group earned 825 points including 762 completed workouts and 63 bonus points (workouts included 99 Swim, 163 Bike, 235 Run, 184 Strength, and 81 Core/Flexibility). 20 athletes reached the Tonight's ride will be about completing a bunch of loops of Watopia's Volcano Circuit, which, after a 1.7 mile lead-in, is a mostly flat 2.5 mile loop that includes 66 feet of climbing. The duration will be 45 minutes and we'll be using the "keep everyone together" feature.
