For the Birds & the Trees

Join us for some bird-friendly treats and experience new work by 253
Collective artist Kate Lynch at Art Walk, Thursday, August 18, 6-8 p.m. For
the Birds & the Trees is a collection of the artist¹s images of eagles,
hummingbirds, shorebirds, and songbirds juxtaposed with photographs and
photo illustrations of trees. 253 Collective is located at the top of the
stairs on the University of Washington-Tacoma campus, directly across the
street from The Swiss, at 1901 South Jefferson. The gallery is a Tacoma Art
Bus stop, so enjoy more of Art Walk and ride! www.TacomaArtBus.com. We¹re
open from 3 to 8 p.m. on Art Walk Thursday. Also open Friday, Saturday, and
Sunday-noon-5 that weekend.

The artist is contributing 20 percent of sales from this collection to
Nisqually Land Trust. One of Kate¹s photo illustrations was part of the
Tacoma Urban Forest Project, a series of 80 banners that were displayed
along Pacific Avenue in April and May. For details, visit the gallery
