Oh my - a Gator is in charge of this list? J
I'm Brad Cunningham, municipal attorney for the Town of Lexington, SC.
We are about 10 miles from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
Just yesterday, we had a discussion about Columbia limiting the number
of unrelated individuals who could live in rental housing. I remember a
few years ago reading about this in law school - property class, believe
it or not, because it was a zoning / land use issue..........
Any way, we have plenty of issues related to underage drinking and
rental housing for students, and a lot of it being vacant three to four
months out of the year. I have enjoyed the general listserve and the
water cooler. I expect the same here.....

It seems that this will be a good list, because we have been discussing
many of the issues that you mentioned in your message. Those, and many
more. The U of Wyo is no different than the rest of the world, although
it would like to think so. Its influence on a City of 25,000 is
significant, to say the least. The biggest of the "800 pound gorillas"
in town. (The others being UPRR and Mountain Cement, plus a number
ranches.)
I am looking forward to the discussions.
