Hi ,

I have managed to get two mobile phones communicating between them  using
the set up (OpenBTS using the UHD driver and USRP2 device) . I have a
problem here

  1. The communication system losses sync after some time ,even after using a
10 MHz at 300 mV as a result the mobile phones are not in a position to
communicate for a longer time .

Would be great if you can help me to debug this issue . If there is already
a solution for this please send me the link for me .

with regards
Vintu

Try using two antennas on USRP2 (one on TX/RX and one on RX2). It solved my
problem.

Can you describe in more detail what you mean by losing sync? And how
long is a long time? Minutes, hours?

I recently pushed a large collection of changes to the repository.
Many of these were instigated by work with the E100 and 52MHz
transceiver, but apply to the general case as well. I've been running
overnight tests lately with calls over 4 hours. Can you try again with
the update?

Also, in the future please direct OpenBTS specific questions to the
OpenBTS mailing list.
