Has anyone ever run into this so-called "box anchor"?  I just

encountered it elsewhere on the web.  Never heard of it before.

I've read a couple of reviews of the box anchor.  It's properties
seem pretty impressive, but after reading the articles carefully and
looking at the manufacturer's website, it seemed to me that this
anchor is designed primarily for smaller boats in lakes and rivers.
There seems to be no reason it couldn't be used in saltwater,
but from the website the anchors don't seem very large, and I
definitely got the impression they were designed more for
runabouts, small cruisers, and small fishing boats, sort of in the
15-25 foot range.  The photos on the website at the time certainly
implied this, too.
