Hi,

I'm trying to explore the possibility of developing my own event package
for PJSIP (to use with asterisk) to respond to avaya specific SIP
subscribe messages. I have some avaya 9608 phones and want to get the
advanced avaya ppm features working on them. I have found a blog online
with some code to modify the current. I have found someone online who
has posed some code to modify the old asterisk chan_sip driver to allow
the advanced features to work and I am hoping to use the basis of this
code to create a PJSIP module to respond to the subscribe events etc...

I have limited experience of the C programming language but I have over
the years developed a fair amount of software in a few different
languages (currently using the dreaded PHP...)

I wondered if you may be able to point me in the right direction of how
to create a module to respond to subscribe events etc.. and then how to
compile the module and enable it in PJSIP / asterisk.

I have tried reading the various developer guides etc but either I feel
I am looking in the wrong place as they don't seem to provide a how to
compile a single modue / enable a module section.

I know this is very vague but I am keen to mess with the code and see
what I can make work. If you can help me in any way I would appreciate it.
