Hi all!
Deciding that 2 Ontario life birds was a good excuse to head down to South
Western Ontario, I made the trip down.
The two Eurasian Collared-Doves were, as advertised, sitting on the wires
in front of house 1213 on Seacliffe Dr. E, Leamington, at noon.
At Holiday Beach, I was only able to locate one Snowy Egret in the small
pond visible from the hawk watch tower. From about 1:30-2:00 pm It was
very actively hunting the pond until it flew off to roost in a tree near a
Great Egret.
I also did some Odeing while down here the details can be found here
https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!topic/ont-odes/L_DGlHDGg78
Holiday Beach is on Rd 50 between Amherstburg and Harrow, on Lake Erie.
There is a fee of $10 to enter, payable by coin or credit card.
Cheers,
Kyle
