09/07/14 - Milford, Milford Point, Audubon center -- Marbled Godwit
out in the marsh at 7 AM, seen from the tower.

09/07/14 - Stratford, Birdseye Boat Ramp -- photographed what is
probably the same Marbled Godwit reported earlier by Tina Green from
Milford Point.

09/07/14 - Stratford, Birdseye Boat Ramp -- 9:55 AM; the Marbled
Godwit is still here roosting on the blacktop near the outflow
channel.

09/07/14 - Stratford, Birdseye Boat Ramp -- The Marbled Godwit flew
off about 10:40 AM, headed south down river, and was last seen flying
east across river towards Milford Point. (It might have also turned
back and headed toward Short Beach, Stratford.  Many happy birders and
photographers.

09/07/14 - West Haven, Sandy Point -- 6:00 to 7:30 AM; Buff-breasted
Sandpiper, White-rumped Sandpiper and Red Knot.  (No Avocet.)

09/07/14 - West Haven, Sandy Point -- 2:10 PM, Buff-breasted Sandpiper
(watched with Larry Bausher), one of very few shorebirds around.

09/07/14 - West Haven, Sandy Point -- 5:35 PM; Juvenile Buff-breasted
Sandpiper.  Juvenile Peregrine Falcon.

09/07/14 - Groton, Bluff Point, hot corner and surrounding trails --
The front visibly passed just after 7am.  Despite that, we had
approximately 170 warblers of 10 species with about 80% being
redstarts.  Most notable were five Bobolink and a Peregrine Falcon.

09/07/14 - Naugautck, Naugatuck State Forest, Hunter's Mountain
section -- Between all of us, 15 species of warblers (maybe more I
don't know about). including TENNESSE WARBLER, CAPE MAY WARBLER and
WILSON's WARBLER.

09/07/14 - Old Greenwich, Greenwich Point Park -- 3 COMMON RAVENS put
on quite a show with awesome views and calls.  Also one Tennessee
Warbler.

09/07/14 - Colebrook, Colebrook reservoir -- The water is finally down
showing some mud. We had 2 Solitary Sandpipers, 1 Pectoral Sandpiper.

09/07/14 - Branford, Sybil Creek -- At 7 PM a total of 44 Common
Nighthawks in small groups appeared pursuing and eating dragonflies.
Abruptly at 730 pm the dragonfly flight stopped.

Nighthawks feeding.
