Dear Members of SCR,

I wanted to write and thank everyone that helped with the 9th Annual Salida Classic this past weekend. The race was a resounding success and is due to the amazing effort put in by all the volunteers and community members that took part in the race or just came out to watch. Below is an email from a racer that expresses much of the sentiment I heard throughout the weekend.

"This was my first time to race, and I guarantee I will be back. I can’t thank you enough for a fantastic event.

Your community is awesome, your volunteers were absolutely outstanding. This race was so well organized –

And first class. You serve the cycling community of Colorado so well! THANKS SO MUCH!

Next year I will bring along more members of our team!"

So thank you to everyone that was involved this year and I hope you'll all mark your calendars for the last weekend in July next year to come out and be a part of what is becoming one of the premier races in Colorado.
